Summer Time

 Summer time is here and the weather is hot but the crepe myrtles are coming into full bloom.

Spring Approaches

The grass is turning green, dandelions and crocus are blooming and the bluebonnets are beginning to grow. They should be in full bloom by the second Saturday in April when we have our annual meeting this year.

2011 Annual Meeting

The weather was perfect for the annual meeting and picnic at the cemetery. About 20 people enjoyed a relaxed time of remembering and sharing stories of earlier times.

Annual Meeting 2011

The annual meeting of the Auburn Cemetery Association will be held at the cemetery Saturday, April 9. After a picnic lunch at noon a short business meeting will be held to take care of any necessary items.

Bring your lawn chair and come on down to visit with other families from the community.

December 2009

The trees have lost most of their leaves as cold weather sets in and Christmas approaches. The cemetery is quiet and peaceful at this time of year.

2009 Annual Meeting

The annual meeting of the Auburn Cemetery Association was held on the second Saturday in April with good attendance. For some of us the pot luck dinner was the highlight of the day. There was plenty of good food.

The weather was nice and everyone enjoyed time to visit and fellowship with old friends and make new ones.
