The trees have lost most of their leaves as cold weather sets in and Christmas approaches. The cemetery is quiet and peaceful at this time of year.

- The Auburn Cemetery is a community cemetery in western Ellis County about 4 miles west of Maypearl. Burials here are restricted to residents of the community and their relatives. The cemetery is operated and maintained entirely by the efforts of volunteers. Contributions to the operating fund may be deposited to Auburn Cemetery Fund at the Cowboy Bank of Texas, P.O.
